Will we ever see another American Indy car champion?

Other than Sam Hornish, it's been a while since we've seen anyone born in the U.S. become Indycar champ. Looking at the driver lineup, I don't see that changing anytime soon. Marco Andretti hasn't done squat, and Graham Rahal is probably the only other candidate. Any other possibilities out there?
