What can I do? Can I be sued for this?

I lived with a family about a year ago, in Eugene, OR. I had moved back to Houston, TX, and have been living here for about year now. The family is suing me for unpaid expenses, room, and board, but I made no written consent to anything of the sort. What can I do?
